Rhode Island Reds FC
Founded in 2012, the Reds are Rhode Island’s highest-level club, currently playing in the NPSL.
Providence City FC
An amateur club located in Johnston, The Rogues are quickly earning prominence on the local scene.
Fall River Marksmen
Located just over the border from East Providence, the Marksmen are the most storied club in the region.
Newport FC
Another USASL club, Newport FC represents the South coast of Rhode Island.
Charlie O’s FC
Out of South Kingstown, it draws its name from the now-closed Charlie O’s Pub.
St. Mendez FC
This club is also based out of South Kingstown and plays at Tuckertown Park.
So. County Kicks
Based out of historic Mews Pub in Wakefield, they also play at Tuckertown.
RI Arsenal Gunners
Based out of Warwick, the Gunners won the USASL title in 2019.
R.I. Oceaneers
Originally founded in 1974, a second iteration began in 2014.
College Teams
Providence
The Friars are one of the top teams in New England and the men’s team made the Final Four in 2014.
Rhode Island
Another top program in the region, the program regularly competes for league titles.
Brown
The Ivy League contender won an Ivy League women’s title in 2019.
Bryant
Playing in the NEC, the program as a whole has been on the upswing in the last five years.
Salve Regina
Out of Newport, the D-III program is among New England’s most consistent programs.
Roger Williams
Another D-III team from Bristol, the Hawks have one of the top women’s programs in the area.
Johnson & Wales
One of the top men’s programs around, the Wildcats are traditionally competitive.
R.I. College
Located in Providence, the Anchormen are a competitive program all-around.
Community College of R.I.
A junior college program, the Knights have a strong women’s program.
